The legacy of James Hunt, a maverick of his era and so-called ‘rebel of the track’, continues with the launch of two special anniversary TAG Heuer Formula 1 timepieces. The pair of limited edition watches, are the result of an exclusive TAG Heuer partnership with the Estate of James Hunt and a creative collaboration with James Hunt’s son and fellow racing professional, Freddie Hunt.
In true racing spirit, the special TAG Heuer Formula 1 timepieces will be launched exclusively at the world famous Goodwood Festival of Speed, 23rd – 26th June 2016.
For the third year in a row, TAG Heuer designer Christoph Behling has made gaining access to the VIP Driver’s Club even more exclusive, with the creation of his unique medallion – this year inspired by the new Heuer01. The medallions have become an iconic Goodwood collector’s piece, with the designs having evolved from a vintage inspired stopwatch in 2014, to the iconic Carrera in 2015, and now with the new futuristic design. These three iconic moments in TAG Heuer’s history all share the brand’s passion for speed and motorsport.
