The Calibre 360 is indeed advanced. It is the world’s first mechanical movement to indicate 1/100th of a second. The timepiece maintains a regular beat of 28,800 beats per hour, and attains 360,000 beats per hour in chronograph mode. This is 10 times faster than any other mechanical watch movement.

In 2006, the TAG Heuer Calibre 360 is rewarded for its advanced technology in the field of of mechanical chronographs. The jury at the Grand Prix de l'Horlogerie de Genève awards it the Sports Watch of the Year prize.
